Project Highlights

After a consultation with the homeowners to understand what they hoped to achieve and their style preferences, we developed a custom design for the front entry.
A winding flagstone walkway leads from the driveway to the covered stone archway at the front door.
Landscape boulders and drifts of ornamental grasses and perennials break up a bed of river rock.

Project Outcome

The front entry now reads as part of the house rather than an afterthought. The stone walkway, river-rock bed, and layered plantings pick up the same materials as the stacked-stone and wood exterior, so the approach looks deliberate from the driveway to the door. Path lighting carries that first impression into the evening.
